Johnston's Christian Life Coaching
Life is meant to be lived and during the journey of living, we can come across barriers that can impede or distract us from our purpose; sidelining us from being the person we want to be.
Life Coaching provides an avenue for individuals to move from being spectators in their lives, to active participants in a purposeful life. Coaching is result orientated, taking you from where you are, to where you want to be. The aim of a Life Coach is to walk alongside those who desire to achieve a fulfilled life with meaning, value and purpose. A Life Coach believes in you and stands by you as a support to your success. The work is done by you and it is the coach's job to hold you accountable to the goals you set. So get started, get going and live life on purpose!
A Life Coaching session typically begins with a free initial consultation by phone or email. This initial contact is to assess your goals and match them up with my specialty. After the completion of the initial consultation, you and I will agree upon a scheduled time to start the first session. In the meantime, I may supply an information package and questionnaire for you to work on.
The time spent with a Life coach is dependent on the individual and the goal(s) that are worked towards. Since the coaching is a session by session process, an individual may decide to talk to their coach weekly, monthly or scheduled according to the needs required for the person to continue with their success.
What Coaching is not:
Life Coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for clinical therapy or counseling. It does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease. Your Life Coach is not, nor claims to be a licensed clinical professional. Your Life Coach upholds the ethical standards of professional Life Coaching and will only provide services pertaining to that profession. Life Coaching is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, mental, medical or other qualified professionals and you should seek independent professional guidance for such matters.
